Last week three teachers from C.E.I.P. Lope de Vega, Juan Jesus, Alvaro and Jesus, visited Ireland. They went as part of an exchange program through the school called Comenius. For five days they visited an Irish school and toured Dublin, the capital city. They had a great time and practiced their English a lot!
In March some teachers from the Irish school will visit us here in Casariche. We look forward to their visit. :) Undoubtbly, this trip was a very positive experience for our teachers and we hope that it is a positive experience for our new Irish friends when they visit us.
Have a look at some of the pictures that the teachers took on their trip!
Here are Alvaro and Juan Jesus at the airport in Ireland! And below is a picture of Jesus and Juan Jesus outside Trinity College in Dublin. Trinity College is the oldest university in Ireland!
Here are some pictures from the Primary school in Ireland. You can see it's not so different from our own.
Here are some pupils in the gym. At their school, they must wear uniforms. Do you like uniforms? Would you like a uniform at your school? Is it a good idea?
Here is some work that the students have done in class. They celebrated Halloween, too! There is also information about autumn and recycling.
Finally, these are some pictures that the teachers took in their free time while they were visiting monuments around the city. This is a suit of armor at the Museum of Modern Art in Dublin. Do you like museums? What museums have you visited?
What animals are these? Do you know the name? These are deer in Phoenix Park just three kilometers away from Dublin. These are wild deer. The park is very big: 712 hectacres!
